WALK THIS WAY & WITH ME ( Loose Leash Walking )  6 weeks program/ 1 lesson /week   FEES:  $270  This six week intensive course will focus strictly on leash walking. Techniques for successful loose leash walking and “heeling” fundamentals will be covered. Your instructor will demystify many of leash walking tools on the market . We will show you how to keep control of your active happy dog even when presented with distractions.
Our Walk This Way & With Me course is designed to improve your leash walking experience with your buddy. This program is appropriate for friendly dogs only. Enthusiastic and bouncy is no problem! Walk This Way & With Me course  meets for 1 hour per week. 30 minutes is spent in the Training Sanctuary  working on leash walking techniques and 30 minutes is spent outdoors( weather permitted) practicing the techniques in real world situations.
PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of Amazing Kinder Garden Class ( Puppy Class level 1) or New Kids on the Block ( Junior Puppy Class) or Puppy  Class level 2 or  similar group training class.            Dogs should be people and dog friendly  and FOOD driven. Dogs should be quiet ( most of the time) to be able to focus on the handler.

.SORRY : This class is NOT SUITABLE for dogs that show REACTIVITY ( AGGRESSION ) towards people and dogs This class is NOT SUITABLE for EXCESSIVE BARKERS ( please refer to Private Consultation Services) Dogs that bark and lunge and snap at other dogs and people are REACTIVE Dogs that guard food and bed and chew toys and owners are REACTIVE

A word on EXCESSIVE BARKERS in Group Class. A dog that is all worked up and barking constantly non-stop CAN NOT FOCUS on the handler. The barking can upset the dogs and their handlers, not to mention make the coach crazy. Owners of Excessive Barking dogs will have to do a One-on One private training session prior to the Group Class.
